If you are fortunate enough to be drawn for a Maine Moose permit, you have the opportunity to take a trophy moose, why blow it by not hiring a guide service that knows the permit area? Mountain View Drifter Lodge & Outfitters knows the North Central Maine area. There are plenty of bull moose in our area. We know where they are, and more importantly, we know how to take care of the moose after the kill. When selecting the zones to hunt in on your permit application, we suggest the following sequence of zones: 10, 9, 11, 4, 8, 18, 5, 3, 6, 1.
